Mountain Lion season

Dalon has been taking lion hunters in the desert of Arizona for a couple of months now. So far they have killed a great percentage. Here is a picture of one that was caught last week.

Pernell Davis killed this beautiful buck on the archery hunt last week. Congratulations!

And this is the wonderful Chris Washko with his 405 and some change, trophy bull.

This is a gorgeous buck with 26 total points. Dalon was the guide, and it was taken on a private ranch in southern New Mexico. There are lots of monster mulies there, that is for sure!

Dalon killed this neat non-typical bull on the last day of the late muzzleloader hunt. It is the first bull he has killed and actually his first time elk hunting for himself because he is usually guiding.

Here is another beautiful buck taken on the private ranch in Southern New Mexico.

This is Mr. Dion Beckner from Texas. He is a favorite. I'm pretty sure this is his 4th year hunting with us. Boyd was his guide this year and as you can see, it was a success!

This is Eric Swanson (above) and Everett Moore (below). They are both very good guys from Delaware. Everett has hunted with us 4 times now and he brought Eric along this time. The first morning of their hunt it was raining so hard. When they all got up to leave, is was lightning, thundering and pouring so much that everyone probably rather would have just stayed in. It rained off and on all day long. That evening Everett and Elden had this bull come in. At first Everett said he would pass and wait for something bigger but the bull came close and was buguling right there..that's enough to get anyone's heart racing, and the rest is history. Congratulations guys!

Cute Couple

Here is a great and cute couple, C.W. and Patsy Houghton. They have been hunting with us for two years now. He archery hunts and she uses a muzzleloader, so we are lucky enough to see them twice in the fall and enjoy their great personalities and enthusiasm about hunting !

Oh Baby, it's hot in here!

This is from last year but it had to be posted, Dad and Phil Thompson getting cozy together on the couch. Phil has hunted with us three times now, is such a fun guy and we're always glad to have him.

Got any Cheeeese?

Dave Dixon is one of the coolest guys to ever walk on the face of this earth. His nickname this time was "Steve Erkel" and he dressed up for us on the last night. Everyone was snorting and saying "got any cheese" all week long. If you ask me, " he's adorable"

The Deadly Texans

We were fortunate to enjoy 5 guys from Texas on this archery hunt, Pernell Davis, Mark Jacobs, Chris Barrileaux, Marvin Watson and Frank Lascotzy. Also, with their party was their friend, and ours from Florida, Adrian Huber and he brought the excercise man Tony Little with him. We also had our favorite couple, C.W. and Patsy Houghton in camp. It was lots of hunting and even more laughing. All five of the texans killed bulls and the other hunters all were into lots of elk and flung a few arrows. Lots of fun!

first bull and I think that we were all as excited as he

was, (well maybe not quite, but very close)!

The beginning

Here we go. Our 2008 hunting seasons have been very fun so far. Lots of animals taken and lots of great guys and a few wonderful gals have been through camp. We appreciate the businees of all and want to share some of the pictures and good laughs that we have.
